Very good signed copy. In 1960 Mar Garanger makes his military service in Algeria. The french army decide to attribute an identity card to the native people in « villages-camps » to chek their travels. Marc Garanger has to photograph up two hundred face a day. To center his portraits hewas inspired by the photos of the indians of Edward Curtis. So he testify of the act of violence made against the algerian women whom establishes the forced unveiling.
